Senior Vacuum Equipment Design Engineer

Job Description

 

This position will be responsible for PECVD, Sputtering, other vacuum equipment and parts design for Si, metal, and dielectric thin films deposition for solar cell applications.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

n           Design high vacuum chambers systems for sputtering and PECVD to include pumping, gas delivery and control.

n           Design electrical and mechanical related facilities for vacuum equipment

n           Come up with innovative ideas for improving process equipment

n           Prepare drawings, obtain quotes and purchase custom equipment as well as off the shelf equipment

n           Supervise junior engineers and draftsmen to accomplish the design

 

Job Status: Full Time

 

Job Requirements

 

n           Must be proficient in Autocad or Inventor

n           Over 10 year’s professional hands-on experience in vacuum chamber, and equipment design.

n           Over 5 years specific design experience in PECVD and Sputtering system

n           Electrical, Mechanical, and Thermal management background

n           Working experience in PV industry would be a plus

n           BS degree in Physics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering is required. MS would be preferred
