Manufacturing Operation Manager

MWOE Solar, Inc., a technology spin-off from the University of Toledo, engages in the development, manufacture,
and marketing of photovoltaic modules that convert sunlight into electricity. The company develops thin-film silicon
based photovoltaic products and manufacturing equipment for high-throughput production of flexible and lightweight
photovoltaic modules at low cost. The company was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Toledo, Ohio.

Job Description

This position will be responsible for (1) leading operators to execute manufacturing operations, (2) delivering quality

products on time to meet or exceed customers’ specs and requirements, and (3) meeting operational cost goals.

This position reports to VP manufacturing

Job Responsibilities:

n Responsible for managing operators for thin film solar cell materials & modules manufacturing

n Hiring, training, scheduling, and developing manufacturing operators to maximize operational productivity as well as product quality

n Coordinate technical support from both process and equipment engineering functions to assure the success of MFG execution

n Manage operators to support miscellaneous functions in manufacturing operations

n Work closely with SCM & QA to assure on time delivery of quality products

n Coordinate with other parts of manufacturing to optimize manufacturing operations for cost control

Job Status: Full time

Job Requirement

n More than 5 years management experience in manufacturing environment would be the minimum requirement

n Hands-on working experience in PV industry would be very much preferred

n BS degree in Engineering or equivalent. MBA would be a plus

n Self-discipline would be a basic requirement
