and marketing of photovoltaic modules that convert sunlight into electricity. The company develops thin-film silicon
based photovoltaic products and manufacturing equipment for high-throughput production of flexible and lightweight
photovoltaic modules at low cost. The company was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Toledo, Ohio. 

Job Description

The electrical technician must be able to perform general installation, repair and upgrade of electrical and electronic apparatus.

The applicant will be expected to be proficient in interpreting prints and other electrical documentation, trouble-shooting,

installation of 3-phase motors, starters and associated switchgear, working with programmable logic controllers and control systems.

The candidate will also be expected to perform other related duties that may be assigned and to maintain the work area and equipment

in a neat and orderly condition. Ability to work effectively in a team environment is essential.

Job Responsibilities:

n Install single and 3 phase motors, motor drives related equipment

n Assist in installation of PLC control systems

n Execute equipment trouble shooting based on the trouble shooting guide created by the manufacturing equipment engineer.

n Create and maintain documentation related to new and existing electrical systems

n Assist as required in mechanical construction of new production equipment

Job Status: Full Time

Job Requirements

n 3+ years hands-on industry experience building and maintaining electrical, electro-mechanical and control systems

n Strong electrical and electronic background – 3-phase Circuits/Power Distribution, Motor Controls/Drives, PLC Systems, Industrial Machines and Automation.

n Knowledge of NEC codes strongly preferred

n Basic computer skills required

n Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or other equivalent qualification preferred
